The aim of Scouting is to encourage the physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual development of young people so they may play a constructive role in society as responsible citizens and as members of their local and international communities.
This aim is achieved through a strong and active program that inspires young people to do their best and to always be prepared.

Berrima is a unique and historic village. Established in 1831, it is the only example of an existing and largely preserved Australian Georgian colonial town. Berrima is located in a picturesque valley on a bend of the Wingecarribee River.
1st Helensburgh Scout Group will be presenting a evening with Tim Macartney Snape with an Audio Visual display on "Giants of the Himalaya and Everest" at the Helensburgh Workers Club on the 25th September at 7pm .
